Garba performed inside Gujarat hospital's ICU, netizens slam

Ahmedabad, Oct 20 (IBNS): In a bizarre incident, hospital staff, including young doctors, were seen performing 'garba' in the intensive care unit of a hospital here.

The incident reportedly occurred in Sola Civil Hospital on Monday.

A video has surfaced where several doctors, wearing white overcoats, uniformed nurses and ward boys, are seen playing garba around the unit.

Patients are seen shockingly seeing them playing in front of them while loud music is being played during the performance.

The incident has been criticised by netizens as they posted their views on social networking sites.

"All the doctor and nurse enjoy GARBA in ICU section with wear a shoes in Ahmedabad hospital.It is rule of india ? KAYDO KAYDA NU KAM KRSHE," tweeted one Chintan Miyani.

Another netizen Gaurav said ,"Sick Minded Leaders...Garba in hospital."

Twitter user Parth Bach posted: "Shameful incident happened in Ahmedabad yesterday. Hospital staff played Garba in newly inaugurated ICU facility."

Another Santanu MUFC tweeted: "Garba inside a hospital!!! Is it a joke??!!!"

Traditionally, garba is performed during the nine-day Hindu festival Navaratri.
