Get feedback from people : Modi asks ministers
Reports said Modi, who met all ministers of state with independent charge for more two hours, questioned them whether they were facing any problems and asked them to stay in touch with him.
BJP president Amit Shah was present at the meeting.
Modi asked the ministers to work in a transparent manner, make polices in public interest and connect with the people.
After the meeting, some ministers said it was a "good exercise" and should take place on a regular basis.
Few days ago, RSS, the ideological mentor of the BJP, had warned it against a growing 'disconnect' within the party and a "negative perception' of the people about the government.
