Panaji, Oct 12 (IBNS): The accused in the Goa perfumer Monika Ghurde murder case confessed to police of raping the deceased multiple times before killing her, The Indian Express reported.

Rajkumar Singh, a former guard of the complex where Ghurde lived, hid in the terrace of her  building for two days before forcing an entry into the perfumer's apartment, he confessed.

Singh also said that he forced her to match porn clips, raped her multiple times before smothering her with a pillow.

Police said that Singh, a former watchman of the apartment, did it to avenge his sacking.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Vimal Gupta was quoted as saying in the media that the accused had  tied an unconscious Ghurde to the bed and ate boiled eggs and chocolates, while waiting for  her to regain consciousness.

Singh also used this as a process to extract money from a helpless Ghurde, the DIG added.

According to Gupta, Singh told police that though there were several complaints against him, it was Ghurde's that lead into his expulsion.

The accused was arrested from Bangalore on Sunday
