GoC Chief of Eastern Command arrives at Dimapur

Guwahati, July 27 (IBNS): Lieutenant General Abhay Krishna, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Eastern Command on Friday arrived in Nagaland’s Dimapur during his four days long visit to the North Eastern region.

The General Officer, during the visit will be accompanied by Lieutenant General Gopal R, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding Spear Corps.

As part of his assessment of the prevailing security situation in the North East States, General Abhay Krishna, commenced his visit from Dimapur on Friday.

On arrival at Dimapur, he was briefed on the progress of operations being undertaken by the Spear Corps.

During his visit, he will be briefed by the Operational Commanders of Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur and Nagaland besides interacting with heads of other security agencies operating in North East States.
