Dehradun, Aug 17 (IBNS): At least 27 people have lost their lives in the past 48 hours in Uttarakhand where heavy rains created havoc and triggered landslides, cloudburst and flooding across the state.
Seven people were reportedly killed in Dehradun's Rajpur area due to landslides.

Meanwhile, 20 people were killed in cloudbursts at four places in Uttarakhand's Pauri district on Friday.

The Met department told media: "We had given the warning that from 14th there will be heavy rains. Areas near river are dangerous. 25-30 per cent houses near such areas will be washed away."
