Helicopter carrying Ram Vilas Paswan, Sushil Kumar Modi makes emergency landing

Gaya, Apr 9 (UNI) Lok Janshakti Party chief and union minister Ram Vilas Paswan and deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi had a miraculous escape today when their helicopter was forced to make emergency landing under Bodh Gaya police station area in Gaya district.

Gaya senior police superintendent Rajeev Mishra said that the helicopter made the emergency landing due to stormy wind in the region. Both Paswan and Modi who were on the campaign trail were safe.

He said, both leaders were going to Belaganj to address an election meeting.

Police said, the pilot of helicopter averted a major mishap by opting for  emergency landing. Further investigation is on.
