Hospitals which are refusing to provide healthcare to patients will not be spared: Arvind Kejriwal

"They will not be spared," Kejriwal told media.

He said the government  hospitals are trying to deal with the dengue crisis in the national capital.

The CM said: "The government hospitals are making efforts to deal with the dengue crisis. We are trying to increase space availability in hospitals."

Dengue, raging in the national capital, has claimed two more lives taking the toll to seven.

Reports said a 43-year-old man died at Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital while a child lost his life to the vector-borne disease after being turned down by five hospitals.

Five-year-old Aman, who was one of the latest victims was reportedly refused admission by several hospitals as his parents desperately move from one place to the other since September ten. He died on Tuesday.

A 43-year-old man, who also  died due to dengue, was reportedly brought to the hospital in critical condition and died a day later.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said, "We have ordered the emergency beds to be put in hospitals. All doctors and paramedical staff asked to report. We want to help people in whatever way we can as far as dengue is concerned."

According to the fresh data released by the Delhi municipal corporation, 613 cases of dengue have been reported in the last one week and a total 1,872 patients have tested positive for the vector borne disease till Sept 12.
