New Delhi/IBNS: Dismissing rumours on his ill health on social media, Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday tweeted he is healthy and not suffering from any disease.

In a message written in Hindi titled "A message to all those who are worried about my health", 55-year-old Shah said in the last few days some people have been spreading rumours about his health on social media posts.

Mr Shah said in his message "some people even tweet wishing my death".

He said the rumours had not come to his notice as he had been busy performing his duties as the Home Minister amid coronavirus pandemic which has infected nearly 60,000 people and killed more than 1,900 in the country.

Taking a dig at those spreading rumours about his health, he said such speculations would only make him stronger.

"According to Hindu beliefs, these types of rumours, strengthens one's health. Therefore, I expect that such people will allow me to do my work and they too will go about their businesses," he added.
