Kolkata/UNI: West Bengal's BJP president Dilip on Tuesday said he was completely fit and fine after emerging out of a private hospital in the city where he was undergoing covid-19 treatment since Friday last.

The hospital authorities discharged the politician after several tests and he was found free from coronavirus, for which he was admitted on October 16.

"Actually, I never felt any pain and uneasiness, only some cough and fever. When my body temperature crossed 100 degrees, on the advice of my doctors, I got admitted to AMRI Hospital," Ghosh told the waiting journos, in presence party's vice-resident Raju Banerjee.

Ghosh also thanked the people for their concern about his health and said he was now fit and fine.

He also warned the people not to venture out unnecessarily and observe Durga Puja with precautions and care for oneself and others in view of a pandemic situation.
