IAF Su 30 fighter aircraft crashes; pilots safe

Pune, Oct 14 (IBNS): An Indian Air Force (IAF) Su 30 fighter aircraft crashed at a a village close to Pune city on Tuesday, officials said.

Both the pilots, who were present in the aircraft, safely ejected from it.

"An Indian Air Force (IAF) Su 30 fighter aircraft on a training mission crashed at 1741 hrs, close to 20 kms of Pune Airbase. Both the pilots safely ejected,"    the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

The Minister said a Court of enquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident.
