The Indian Air Force (IAF) is participating in the Singapore Airshow 2026 with its renowned Sarang Helicopter Display Team, flying the indigenously designed and manufactured Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv.

Known for precision flying, close-formation manoeuvres and disciplined execution, the Sarang display highlights the operational versatility, agility and reliability of the ALH Dhruv across a wide spectrum of roles.

The Singapore Airshow 2026 — Asia’s premier biennial aerospace and defence exhibition — is being held at the Changi Exhibition Centre from February 3 to 8, 2026. The event brings together global air forces, industry leaders and aviation stakeholders, showcasing advanced military and civil aviation platforms while fostering professional engagement, strategic dialogue and industry partnerships across the Indo-Pacific region.

This year’s airshow features the Sarang Helicopter Display Team alongside three other international aerobatic teams. In addition, a static display of 37 aircraft will be on exhibit.

Established in 2005, the Sarang Aerobatic Team operates five ALH Dhruv helicopters. Over the years, the team has performed at several prestigious international events, including the MAKS International Air Show (Russia, 2021), Dubai Airshow (2021 and 2023), Bahrain International Airshow (2024), and the Singapore Airshow (2024 and 2026). The team also regularly performs at major domestic events and has rendered invaluable service in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations.
