IAS officer Ghanashyam Dass appointed as Secretary to Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

Guwahati/IBNS: Senior IAS officer Ghanashyam Dass has been appointed as the new Secretary to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

The Personnel (A) department on Friday transferred Agriculture department Secretary Ghanashyam Dass and posted as the Secretary to the Chief Minister of Assam.

District Development Commissioner of Tinsukia district Simanta Kumar Das also transferred and posted as the Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister of Assam.

Dhemaji district Deputy Commissioner Dr Jeevan B has been transferred and posted as the Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister of Assam.

Senior IAS officer Samir Kumar Sinha was appointed as the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Assam.
