IEDs recovered by Army in Tangdhar
Srinagar, Nov 11 (IBNS): The Army on Tuesday recovered three IEDs from the border village of Amrui, Karnah Tehsil along the LC in the frontier Kupwara Division.
The vigilant troops saw some suspicious movement near LC during the early morning hours today at the border village of Amrui, Karnah Tehsil.
The area was searched resulting into detection of three IEDs of 5 KG each. Timely action by the alert troops thus foiled major tragedy.
Lt Gen Subrata Saha, the Chinar Corps Commander commended the troops for foiling the nefarious designs of the Pak based terrorist tanzeems to cause violence in Kashmir.
The Corps Commander further emphasized that this was the result of the robust counter infiltration grid along the line of control and strong counter terrorist grid in hinterland and Army is committed to ensure a secure environment for the elections.
