Sydney: PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday described the relationship between India and Australia as firmly in the T20 mode.

He said he had a comprehensive and wide-ranging discussion with Australian PM Anthony Albanese.

"Today’s talks with PM @AlboMP were comprehensive and wide-ranging. This is our sixth meeting in the last one year, indicative of the warmth in the India-Australia friendship. In cricketing terminology- we are firmly in T-20 mode!" he said.

Modi is on a third-leg of his three-nation tour.

Before Australia, he visited Papua New Guinea and Japan.
