India believes in sharing knowledge with developing nations: Modi

Hanoi, Sept 3 (IBNS): Speaking at a luncheon banquet hosted by his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyễn Xuân Phúc on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India believes in sharing knowledge and expertise with other developing nations.

"Believe in sharing knowledge, experiences and expertise with other developing countries. No better example of this than success of our beloved cooperation," he said.

Reiterating India's long standing relationship with Vietnam, PM Modi said, "We're happy to have partnered for Cuu Long Delta Rice Research Institute that has made Vietnam world's third largest rice exporter today."

He also urged both the nations to take take advantage of the synergy and exploit new opportunities.

"As partners,we must take advantage of our synergies to jointly face emerging regional challenges, and to exploit new opportunities," PM modi said.

PM Modi maintained that a strong India-Vietnam partnership will prove beneficial for various segments.

"Strong India-Vietnam partnership would lead to prosperity, development, peace and stability for our people, and in wider region," he said.
