Indian army nabbed NDFB (S) militant with arms in Assam’s Nalbari

Guwahati, Oct 14 (IBNS): Indian army and Assam police apprehended a militant of banned outfit NDFB (S) in Assam’s Nalbari district on Monday.

Based on intelligence input, a joint team of Indian army and Nalbari district police had launched operation at Dhomdhoma area and nabbed the NDFB (S) militant identified as Boloram Basumutary.

Security personnel had recovered one rifle and some cash in possession from him.

A top official of Nalbari district police said that, Boloram Basumutary had joined the outfit 20 years ago and he was involved in many murder cases.

It is to be mentioned that, security forces had apprehended another NDFB (S) militant with arms in Chirang district on Sunday.
