The Indian Embassy in Dubai on Thursday said they are in constant touch with the UAE authorities and airlines and have facilitated connections between stranded Indian passengers and their family members, amid the heavy rainfall which disrupted normal life in the Gulf nation.

They further stated that relief measures have been extended in association with Indian community organizations, reported ANI.

"We are in touch with UAE authorities and the airlines to facilitate stranded passengers," the Indian Embassy in Dubai posted on X.

"Regular updates from airlines are being conveyed to travellers," the embassy said.

"Relief measures have been extended in association with Indian community organizations," it said.

The Embassy on Friday directed Indian passengers travelling to or transiting through Dubai International Airport to reschedule non-essential travel after the city in the wake of recent rainfall experienced by the nation.
