Indian Foreign Secretary meets Vice Foreign Minister of China, discuss regional and international issues of common interest

New Delhi, Dec 5 (IBNS): India's Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale and Vice Foreign Minister of China Kong Xuanyou held consultations in New Delhi on Dec 4, officials said on Wednesday.

The two sides reviewed the progress made in India-China bilateral relations since the Informal Summit between Prime Minister and President Xi Jinping in April 2018 and discussed the agenda for bilateral engagement in the coming months, read a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs.

Issues related to regional and international issues of common interest were discussed by the leaders.

"The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest," read the official statement.
