Indian warship INS Betwa slips at naval dockyard, leaves 2 sailors dead

Mumbai, Dec 5 (IBNS): In a massive accident, India's warship INS Betwa, a guided missile frigate, tipped over and crashed to its side while undocking in Mumbai on Monday leaving two sailors dead.

Fourteen others have been rescued from the accident site with minor injuries.

The warship was reportedly docked for underwater repairs.

On Monday around 2 pm, the ship tipped over and fell sideways while it was attempting to return to the water.

According to reports, the main mast of the ship has been broken.

One of the sailors died after falling off the ship and got drowned.

The other sailor, who died, was he was inside the ship when it tipped over.
