Indo-Pak soldiers exchange sweets
Srinagar, Aug 14 (IBNS) Despite ceasefire from both sides across the border, Army officers of India and Pakistan exchanged sweets at the Chakan-da-Bagh and Hot-spring Mendhar crossing points on Thursday on the occasion of Pakistan's Independence Day, Jammu based defense spokesman said.
The exchange of sweets is an appreciated gesture from the both the countries and is expected to go a long way in promoting harmony and bonhomie along the line of control, he said.
India will celebrate its Independence Day on Friday.
