Jaipur road accident: 7 people die in van-truck collision, 5 hurt

Jaipur/UNI: Seven people, including six students, were killed and five others injured in a van-truck collision in Jaipur's Chaksu area on Saturday, police said.

According to the police, 11 students were travelling to Sikar from Baran to appear in Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) exam when their vehicle rammed into a truck near Nimodia cut on NH-12.

Six students and driver of the van were killed in the accident, the police said and added five students, who were injured, are undergoing treatment at Mahatma Gandhi hospital.

The police said they are probing the matter.
