Jammu and Kashmir: 12 killed as vehicle rolls down in Doda

Jammu/UNI: At least 12 people were killed and five others injured on Tuesday when a passenger vehicle skidded off a road and fell from a height on another road in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"A vehicle ferrying passengers was on its way from Doda to Marmat and when it was just few kilometers away from Khillani, it rolled down and fell on another road, at around 1445 hrs" Mumtaz Ahmed, SSP Doda here said.


He said while 12 people have died, five suffered injuries.


"The injured have been shifted to the district hospital," said the SSP.
