Jammu and Kashmir: Four policemen injured in militant attack

Srinagar, May 31 (IBNS): Four policemen were injured when suspected militants lobbed grenade on a police station in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

According to reports, suspected militants lobbed grenade on a police party who were on law and order outside police station of the town , resulting in injuries to four cops.

"All injured cops were rushed to the hospital for the treatment," police official said.

Soon after attack, security forces cordoned off the area to nab the assailants.

Sopore town remained calm since 2015, during 2016 less violence were reported from the town.
