Jammu and Kashmir: Newly recruited Al-Badr terrorist surrenders

Shopian: A terrorist recently surrendered to the police during an encounter which broke out between the security forces and terrorists in  Kanigam area of Shopian district of South Kashmir on Thursday morning.

Kashmir Police Zone said the surrendered terrorist was identified as  Tausif Ahmad.

According to reports, he was recently recruited by the Al-Badr terror outfit trapped.

"#ShopianEncounterUpdate: One newly recruited #terrorist namely Tausif Ahmad #surrendered. #Operation in progress. Further details shall follow.@JmuKmrPolice," Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.

Three terrorists were killed during the encounter.
