Jammu and Kashmir Police bust narco-terror module, 10 arrested

New Delhi: The Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested 10 people as they busted a narco terror module in Uri area of Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla region, officials said.

Officials said a huge quantity of heroin, worth Rs 45 crore, along with arms and ammunition, were recovered from the spot.

Police are investigating the issue further.

"So far 10 persons have been #arrested in the #NarcoTerror module. Further investigation into the matter is in progress.@JmuKmrPolice," Kashmir Police Zone tweeted.

" IGP Kashmir #congratulates @BaramullaPolice for the major success by busting a #NarcoTerror module. 6 persons arrested and 4 pistols, 10 grenades, ₹21 Lacs cash, 4 vehicles & 9Kg heroine (market value 45 Crores) seized. Investigation on. @JmuKmrPolice," read an earlier tweet.
