Jammu and Kashmir: Two civilians injured in grenade attack in south Kashmir

Srinagar/UNI: At least two civilians were injured when militants hurled a hand grenade towards a security force bunker in south Kashmir district of Anantnag Sunday evening, official sources said.

They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards security force bunker at Sangam in Anantnag district. However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside causing splinter injuries to two persons.

The injured identified as Abdul Hamid Mir and Mohammad Aslam were admitted to hospital, they said adding the condition of both the injured is stated to stable.

Meanwhile, Army, CRPF and police launched a massive searches in the area to nab the militants responsible for the attack.
