JD (U) leader's house burgled in Bihar

Gaya, Mar 16 (UNI) Properties worth lakhs of rupees were stolen from the house of a JD (U) leader in Gewal Bigha locality under Rampur police station area here late last night.

Police said here today that outlaws entered into the residence of JD (U) Gaya Mahanagar vice president Shahzad Shah in Muslim Hotel street by breaking its main door and stole Rs 4 lakh in cash and jewellery worth Rs 3 lakh.

Police said that Shah was not present in his house as he had gone to Jahanabad to attend a marriage party.

When JD (U) leader returned to his residence this morning, he came to know about the theft.
