Jharkhand Polls: 28.56 pc average voter turnout till 1100hrs for polls on 15 seats in 4th phase

Ranchi/UNI: An average voter turnout of 28.56 per cent has been registered in the first four hours (till 1100hrs) of polling currently underway on the 15 seats of the state in the fourth phase of Jharkhand Assembly polls.

Chandankiyari constituency has recorded maximum voter turnout, so far, at 35.01 per cent while Bokaro witnessed the least turnout at 21.46 per cent.

Constituency wise the polling percentage is as following: Madhupur 31.82 percent, Deoghar (SC) 26.99 percent, Bagodar 34.63 percent, Jamua (SC) 27.11 percent, Gandey 29.37 percent, Giridih 28.10 percent, Dumri 32.49 percent, Bokaro 21.46 percent, Chandankiyari (SC) 35.01 percent, Sindri 33.52 percent, Nirsa 31.70 percent, Dhanbad 21.84 percent, Jharia 22.81 percent, Tundi 32.75 percent and Baghmara 28.40 percent.

Polling on 10 out of these 15 seats will end at 1700hrs while in five seats of Bagodar, Jamua, Giridih, Dumri and Tundi it will end at 1500hrs itself.
