J&K: 15-day training on dairy farming concludes at SKUAST-Jammu

Srinagar: A fifteen days training programme on “Scientific Interventions to Improve Productivity of Dairy Animals” sponsored by Tiger Division of Indian Army under Operation Sadbhavna) today concludes here at Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, R.S. Pura campus.

The training, held under the leadership of Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu, Prof. J. P. Sharma, was organized to train the unemployed rural youth and ex-service men of the army so that they could start their own enterprises in a scientific manner with more productivity and thereby more profitability.

Fifteen participants from different villages of Jammu district successfully completed the training programme and received participation certificates.

At the valedictory function, Prof. M.S. Bhadwal, Dean, FVSc&AH and Chief Guest of the function, congratulated all the trainees for their interest and continuous availability during the programme.

He also congratulated the course coordinators and other supporting staff for successful completion of the training programme.
