J&K ceasefire violation: Two soldiers killed

Srinagar, Dec 6 (IBNS): At least two soldiers were killed in two incidents of ceasefire violation in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, media reports said.

While an Army soldier was killed in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Machil sector of Kupwara district, a BSF jawan lost his life in sniper fire from across LoC in Sunderbani sector.

This was the second ceasefire violation along the LoC in the valley within 24 hours.

On Wednesday, a soldier was injured in a ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops in Uri sector.
