JSF holds second webinar in North-East with eminent scholars of Tripura

Guwahati/IBNS: Janasakhya Samadhan Foundation (JSF) scheduled a webinar on Saturday evening with the Eminent Scholars of Tripura.

Formed in the year 2017, Jansankhya Samadhan Foundation has been working tirelessly across the country to enforce a strict Population control law across the country by creating public awareness through the campaign and adopting strict law policies, stated Sailendra Pandey, chairman, North East Chapter of JSF at the webinar.

“JSF has launched this campaign/mission to protect Mother Nature, environment, religion and also for national security. The body demands for a strict enforcement of the population control law in order to safeguard them,” said Sailendra Pandey.

He further appealed before the august gathering to develop consciousness on this issue in all places of the region.

Dr. Subhajit Choudhury, moderator, initially introduced the theme. He opened the session for a healthy discussion on the issue.

Dr. Haradhan Saha, Associate Professor, Swami Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya narrated that ‘a Gana Andoloan at all levels with inclusion of the matter in NEP2020.

Dr. Dhuba Charan Hota, Associate Professor, MBB College emphasized on proper research on population for successful implantation of Population Law.

Dr. Ratan Mazumder, Associate Professor, Govt. Law college pointed out the population influx through the adjacent Bangladesh border and added that these illegal migrants are felicitated by the government machinery.

Dr. Bhabani Modak explained the existing scenario of population patterns in villages owing to poor literacy.

Dr. Supratim Das, Design department IIT Guwahati a resident of Tripura narrated about how the IIT fraternity imitated this Ratriyabadi work to carry forward.

Dr. Nilanjan De, Karimganj Girls College, a resident of Tripura vividly stated on no fencing and loose fencing of the international border with Bangladesh which being one of vital reason for increase in illegal Muslim population in Tripura and also added that AADHAR centre with its workers are regulated by this illegal migrant.

Prof. Satyadeo Poddar, Vice Chancellor, M. B. B. University mentioned that population control is necessary for ecological balance in nature. Dr. Kiran Shankar Chakraborty, Regional Director, IGNOU Tripura presided over the session and concluded with the following points for implementation of Population law – NGO and Social Worker to be engaged; introduction of population studies in school, colleges and universities mandatorily; extreme awareness programme at all level in the society; limiting grant facilities to families having more children. The said webinar ended with Kalyan Mantra.
