Kapil Sharma lodges complaints with CBI against Kejriwal and AAP

New Delhi, May 9 (IBNS) Taking ahead his allegation of corruption to a higher level, sacked Delhi minister Kapil Mishra on Tuesday submitted three set of complaints against Arvind Kejriwal and other party leaders to the CBI, media reports said.

"I've registered three complaints. The first in connection with Rs 50 crore land deal of Arvind Kejriwal's relative. The second against the cash exchange of Rs two crore between Kejriwal and Satyendra Jain, and third against five AAP leaders who misused funds for foreign trips," he said after meeting CBI officials.

He also demanded AAP leaders should put out the details of their foreign tours in public domain, while threatening to sit on a hunger strike if they refuse to do so.

Earlier, responding to MIshra, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal promised to expose a "larger conspiracy" on the issue raging in the country. His aides also claimed there will be a "big revelation."

Kejriwal, who so far remained silent over the controversy that threatens his image as a man of integrity, himself tweeted on Monday night :  "Truth will prevail. It will start tomorrow with the special session of Delhi Assembly."

The murky drama involving the AAP began  late last week with Kapil Mishra, none other than a member of Kejriwal cabinet, alleging that he had seen the Chief Minister accepting Rs. two crore in cash.

The allegation coming from a prominent AAP insider was enough to put the party off balance with its content seeking to snuff out Kejriwal's USP of being a clean politician and giving BJP, fresh from its victory in the Delhi civic body polls, a great political leverage.

The development comes at a time when the AAP is yet to recover from its crushing defeats in Delchi civic body election and the Assembly polls in Goa and Punjab.

"AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj will make the revelation in the Delhi assembly today," Kejriwal said in a tweet.
