Srinagar, Jan 8 (IBNS): Air Flight operations, hit by bad weather for two days, resumed fully on Sunday as visibility improved after heavy snowfall at Srinagar Airport, officials said.

"Air Flight operations have fully resumed at Srinagar airport with the improvement in visibility this morning," Director, Airports Authority of India (AII), Srinagar Airport, Sharad Kumar told IBNS here.

Sharad said that all private airlines flight landed at the airport since morning, and if weather permits service will continue throughout all days.

On Saturday airport authorities cancelled All 18 flights including two additional ones, which could not take off here due to weather conditions prevailing here.

Meanwhile, 300-km-long strategic Jammu Srinagar National Highway remains closed for the third consecutive day.

“There are little chances of road being thrown open on Sunday especially for passengers. If weather improves, we will try to clear the stranded vehicles on priority basis,” said a traffic official.
