Vizag, Mar 31 (IBNS): Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday equated the situation in the country to a person with a tumour said if someone had a tumour, it had to be removed.

“Some people ask me if not Modi who…My reply to those people is simple, if you develop tumour in your body, will you remove it or ask if not tumour who?” Kejriwal said at the show of strength by Grand Alliance leaders in Vizag.

Hosted by Andhra chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, the meeting was also attended by West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee.

Attacking the BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the AAP supremo said: “Pakistan has been trying to create divisions among Indians. They failed in their attempt. But in the last five years, the pair of PM Modi and Amit Shah has succeeded in doing what Pakistan could not in achieve in 70 years.”

Mamata challenged Modi to a debate at the same rally.

"Modi ji you have never done a press conference. Why don't you come for a debate instead? If they can do it abroad, why don't we do one here?" she said. "You will be there. And on behalf of opposition someone will be there. I am ready to fight with you. Politically, I will ask the question, you will reply and you can ask me questions, I will reply. We will not come with any papers or teleprompters. It will not be a prepared speech. It will be a direct interaction with the people. We'll see, kiske baju mein kitna dum hai (who has more guts)".

In his speech, CM Naidu called Modi a “chowkidar of criminals and corrupt”.

“He is protecting scamsters… He doesn’t do what he tells and doesn’t tell what he does,” he said.
