Kerala woman arrested for pouring acid on man's face over marriage proposal rejection

Idukki/IBNS: A 35-year-old woman in Kerala has been arrested for allegedly pouring acid on a man, who rejected her marriage proposal, media reports said.

According to reports, the victim, identified as Arun Kumar 27, has lost vision in one eye and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

The incident happened on Nov 16, and the woman was arrested three later.

It was captured on CCTV footage from the church premises, which emerged on Saturday.

The visual showed accused Sheeba, who was standing behind Kumar, come forward and throw acid on his face. She also suffered some minor injuries.
