Kiran Bedi appointed as Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry
New Delhi, May 22 (IBNS): Former top cop-turned-politician Kiran Bedi has been appointed as the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, media reports said.
"President Pranab Mukherjee, on Sunday, appointed Kiran Bedi as Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry," The Hindu reported.
She was the BJP CM candidate during the Delhi polls.
Arvind Kejriwal and his AAP won the polls to come to power for the second term.
