Kiran Bedi camapign aide withdraws resignation

| | Feb 02, 2015, at 09:50 pm
New Delhi, Feb 2(IBNS) In a wavering political drama, BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi's election campaign in-charge Narendra Tandon, who had quit the party protesting her "dictatorial attitude", withdrew his resignation a few hours later on Monday.

Tandon said he would be working for the BJP.

This is the fourth time that he has resigned and rejoined the party.

Earlier in the day, Tandon had said, "I have resigned today. I was fed up with the dictatorial attitude of Kiran Bedi and her staff. I tried many times to convey this to the top leadership but nothing has been done."

Tandon's resignation letter was addressed to party President Amit Shah.

He said in his letter that he was hurt with the fact that Bedi who had beaten up BJP workers ruthlessly injuring many once was now their boss.

BJP later said Tandon had resigned three times in the past as well and "It is his habit to resign and the rejoin the party."

Bedi, whose choice as the CM candidate against AAP chief Arvind Kerjiwal has rattled some sections in BJP, said she was not aware of the resignation.
