Kolkata: BSF apprehend 2 fake candidates during review medical examination

Kolkata, Feb 24 (IBNS) The Border Security Force (BSF) have apprehended two fake candidates while they are appearing for others in review medical examination for recruitment in BSF held at BSF Camp Composite Hospital at Salt Lake area in Kolkta, officials said on Tuesday.

"On 23rd February 2015 officers of Border Security Force Frontier HQ South Bengal apprehended two fake candidates while they are appearing for others in review medical examination for recruitment in BSF held at BSF Camp Composite Hospital, Salt Lake, Kolkata.  The concerned candidates belong to Haringhata in Nadia District and Jangipur in Murshidabad District," read a government statement.

"It has emerged that they have been allured by racketeer with money   for appearing in the recruitment in place of original candidates," it said.

A total 28 persons have so far been apprehended by the  BSF during the year 2014- 15 in Malda and Kolkata, it said. 

The apprehended persons have been handed over to police station Salt Lake for further investigation.
