Kolkata Municipal poll to be held on April 18

Kolkata, Mar 17 (IBNS): Election to the Kolkata Municipal Corporation will be held on April 18, the State Election Commission announced on Monday.
With this notification, the nomination process has begun for the civic poll. 
 
While March 23 is the last date for filling nominations, scrutiny of nominations will be held the next day, March 24. 
 
The last date for withdrawal of candidature will be  March 26 and the whole process of electioneering has to be completed by May 11.
