As soon as the House assembled at 1100 hrs, Speaker Om Birla congratulated the Indian men's hockey team and boxer Lovlina Borgohain for winning bronze medals in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics.

However, when the Question Hour commenced, the Opposition Members, carrying placards, entered the Well of the House and started sloganeering over the snooping row and new farm laws.

Mr Birla conducted the Question Hour for nearly 27 minutes amid sloganeering by the Opposition members.

He made repeated requests to the agitating members to resume their seats.

As the agitating members did not pay heed to his requests, he adjourned the House till 1200 hrs.
