Latur/UNI: Maharashtra Minister of State for Water Supply and Udgir NCP MLA Sanjay Bansode is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mumbai after being tested positive for coronavirus.

Since the outbreak of corona in the district, Bansode has been visiting his constituency to inspect measures being taken to tackle the pandemic.

He has appealed to citizens who have come in contact with him in the last few days to take care of themselves.

"If anybody has symptoms of corona, they should go to the hospital immediately," he added.

Bansode is the sixth minister of Maha Vikas Aghadi government to be infected with coronavirus. Earlier, Jitendra Awhad, Aslam Shaikh, Ashok Chavan, Dhananjay Munde and Abdul Sattar were infected with corona.

Apart from them, former chief minister Shivajirao Nilangekar-Patil and Ausa MLA Abhimanu Pawar from district were also infected with coronavirus.
