Mehbooba appeals to national media to avoid debating Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 08 (IBNS) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Monday termed Kashmir as the “crown of India” and appealed to the national media to avoid debating Kashmir on news channels.

“There is a problem and problems have solutions which existed even before,” Mehbooba Mufti told reporters here on first day as
secretariat reopened in Srinagar.

She  said, few people pelt stones on forces, and all youths of state don't do that; if all had done sloganeering then so many children
haven't passed in recent exams.

Amid tight security, the civil secretariat and its allied offices reopened in Srinagar for the next six months. The Chief Minister took the ceremonial salute and the traditional guard of honour in the lawns of civil secretariat.

Durbar move is a half yearly practice in Jammu and Kashmir in which civil secretariat moves from Jammu to Srinagar or vise versa.
