Mehbooba Mufti condemns attack on CRPF in Anantnag

Srinagar, Jun 12 (UNI): Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday strongly condemned the Anantnag militant attack, in which five CRPF personnel were killed and a police officer was among those injured.

Taking to micro blogging site twitter tonight president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba wrote: “Strongly condemn the barbarous attack on security personnel in Anantnag. My heart goes out to families of our martyred CRPF personnel. Prayers for speedy recovery of those injured."

“Another terrible day in Kashmir. Praying for safety of Insp Irshad," president of J&K Peoples Movement Dr Shah Faesal said in a tweet.

Another former CM, Omar Abdullah also condemned the attack.
