Militant hideout busted in J&K

Srinagar, May 16 (IBNS) The security forces on Saturday busted militant’s hideout and recovered large number of arms and ammunition from Baramulla town of north Kashmir, army official said.

"A search operation was launched in the forest area of Guriwan village near Zandfaran area of the district following information about the presence of a militant hideout there," an Army spokesman said here.

He said during the search operation, a hideout was busted and large quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered from the spot.

One 1 AK 47 rifle, 460 rounds of AK 47, 1 Chinese Pistol, 2 magazines of Chinese pistol, 28 rounds of Chinese pistol, 8 RPGs, 3 UBGL, 20 UBGL rounds, 8 RPG Boosters, 2 Radio sets and 1 GPS have been recovered from the spot.
