Militant killed as encounter is underway in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 24 (IBNS) : One militant was killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and militants in Ganderbal district of Kashmir, reports said.
The slain militant reportedly belonged to the Lashkar.
The encounter is underway in Khimbar's Hadoora area of the district.
It is said that at least another militant is holed up in a house to continue the gun battle with security forces.
More details of the incident are awaited.
