Modi meets Serbian, Finnish leaders: Push for trade boost and strategic cooperation

Indian PM Narendra Modi discussed ways to deepen cooperation in areas such as defence, manufacturing, DPI, fertilisers and infrastructure during his meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

In his X post, Modi said: "Met President Aleksandar Vučić on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit. We discussed ways to deepen cooperation in areas such as defence, manufacturing, DPI, fertilisers and infrastructure. For many years, India and Serbia have worked closely and I am confident our ties will gain even more momentum in the times to come."

Modi met the leader at the sidelines of the ongoing India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi.

During his meeting with Finland's PM Petteri Orpo, the two leaders  discussed enhancing cooperation in futuristic technologies like 6G, innovation, clean energy, biofuels, circular economy and more.

As per an Indian government statement, both nations aim to double trade, thus giving a strong boost to economic linkages.
