Modi pays homage to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru

New Delhi, Mar 23 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid homage to India freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.

On the occasion of their death anniversary, Modi tweeted: "I pay homage to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev who had laid their lives for the nation. Tributes to these great patriots."

Modi will visit Punjab's Hussainiwala on Monday to pay his tribute to the fighters who were hanged on Mar 23, 2931.

The PM will also visit the Golden Temple and the Jallianwala Bagh.

He tweeted: "In Punjab today. Will pay homage to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev & Rajguru at Hussainiwala & will go to Golden Temple & Jallianwala Bagh."
