Monsoon hits Mumbai, waterlogging in many areas

Mumbai/IBNS: Waterlogging was reported in many areas as rains lashed out Mumbai on the onset of monsoon on Wednesday, media reports said.

Waterlogging was reported in areas including Hindmata, Gandhi Market, Dadar.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has already issued a yellow warning for the city. 

Waterlogging was reported in Netaji Palkar Chowk, S.V. Road Baherambaug Junction, Sakkar Panchayat Chowk, Neelam Junction, Govandi, Hindamata Junction, Iqbal Kamani Junction, Dharavi Restaurant, Dharavi, Sion Junction, King Circle, Mumbai Police reported.

Hakim vaccination centre has been closed due to waterlogging.

Several bus routes have also been changed.
