Kolkata/IBNS: The mortal remains of five labourers, who were killed by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir couple of days ago, were brought home on Thursday.

Terrorists killed five non-Kashmiri labourers and injured another in an attack in Kashmir's Kulgam on Tuesday.

The injured man, identified as Zahoor Din, was taken to the Anantnag district hospital for treatment.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee termed the killing as "pre-planned" and asked for a probe into it.

Mamata had sent two West Bengal Ministers, Shuvendu Adhikari and Firhad Hakim, and Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra to meet the families of the victims. Adhikari has handed over a compensation of Rs. five lakh on behalf of the state government to the families.

Congress MP from Berhampore, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, met the families on Wednesday and slammed the Centre over its Kashmir policies.
