MP: Church vandalised in Jabalpur

Bhopal, Mar 22 (IBNS): A church in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur area has been allegedly vandalized by members of a Hindu religious group, media reports said on Sunday.

The incident reportedly occurred on Friday when a Bible convention was being held in the church.

Police case have been registered in connection with the case against unknown people on Saturday.

"If the perpetrators of this crime are not punished, we will close all the Christian schools in the area," Denzel Paul, a leader of the Christian community was quoted as saying by NDTV.

"We have registered a case against unknown people after a complaint by Christian community," Isha Pant, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Jabalpur was quoted as saying by the news channel.
